Inside Solitary Confinement in Arkansas
Formats
In Failure to Obey: Inside Solitary Confinement in Arkansas, DeMarco Raynor and Anna Stitt use a combination of firsthand accounts, correspondence, photographs, and data to examine the nature of solitary confinement in Arkansas.
Produced over the course of two years, Failure to Obey utilizes a mix of inside/outside reporting, blending DeMarco's first hand account from inside solitary confinement and Anna's work as a free-world investigative journalist.
The report can be viewed as a multimedia report (utilizing photographs and video obtained through the Freedom of Information Act), purchased as a pocketbook, or downloaded as a PDF.
