ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The Fourth Annual DecARcerate Conference will be a day-long event that brings together scholars, activists, and those personally affected by the prison industrial complex to share information and personal stories.

​

In the spirit of TED Talks, eight presenters will share twenty-minute presentations on a wide variety of themes pertaining to Arkansas’ criminal punishment system. Throughout the day there will be two thirty-minute Question and Answer sessions, each with four speakers from throughout the day. This will give conference attendees an opportunity to pose questions to speakers they have heard thus far.
