ABOUT COURT WATCH
Court Watch Arkansas will launch in, trained, and supported volunteers in observing and reporting on whether Orleans Parish Criminal Court judges, prosecutors, public defenders, and other public servants are doing their jobs professionally, transparently, efficiently, ethically, and constitutionally. while sending the message that New Orleanians care about making the court system more accountable and just.
In July 2019, we sent teams of lawyers, artists, and a concerned citizens into all eight of Pulaski County's district courts.
We compiled our reflections into an online multi=media report that combines statistics, personal stories, and artist expression.
Court watch is only possible when there are volunteers willing to do the watching.
Each week, we receive letters from our members in prison. Letter writers help us respond to these letters with the care and consideration
each of them deserve.
