Call to Action
Call Green County Jail at (870) 239-6334 and ask that they:
Work to reduce the population of the jail immediately, before there is widespread infection.
Continue to reduce the number of intakes into the Greene County Jail and consider transfers home immediately over the course of the crisis.
Immediately release anyone incarcerated on an unaffordable money bond. Their ongoing incarceration due solely to the lack of access to money is unfair and unethical (especially during a pandemic).
