Members from the group spoke about decARcerate’s mission and the current state of criminal justice policies in Arkansas. The program also discussed racial disparities in the Arkansas criminal justice system; mental illness in the justice system; and the Arkansas Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty and their current work.
